The St. Joseph Mavericks softball team recently earned the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) 5/6 Grade Division C Championship.
The Mavericks played schools from Everest Academy, St. Joan of Arc, St. Lawrence, St. Mary’s and St. Clare finishing with a 9-1 record.
The team is made up of players from St. Joseph School as well as parish members from St. Joseph Church and Christ the Redeemer Church.
St. Joseph also has a 7/8 softball team which had a successful season finishing in the middle of the standings within their CYO division.
