To the editor:
I have been told many times that if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.
I think that all who have students at Brandon High School will agree that something is going on that is disturbing our kids. There is a lot of talk already in the community and probably even more rumors. What is the truth about what is happening? I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know!
But what I do know is that I would like to find out the truth about the situation. I also know that there will be a school board meeting on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Belle Ann Elementary School. I would encourage all concerned parents to do their part to find the truth. Call your school board members, come to the meeting and ‘stand for something,? our kids and our school. As a part of this community and the Brandon School District, I, for one, will be standing for our kids, their future, and the good reputation of our school.
