Quite a difference from this week.

The days earlier in the week weren’t much cooler, with a high of 91 July 4, 93 July 5, and 92 July 6.
‘We’ve been running 10 degrees above average the last few days,? said National Weather Service Meteorologist Amos Dodson on Thursday. ‘We’re expecting a little cooler temps today and tomorrow. Temps will drop into the low to mid-80s for the rest of the week and the next chance of rain is Monday.?
Dodson said the NWS is predicting summer temperatures will be slightly above average. The record high temperature in this area for July was set July 13, 1936 when it reached 108 degrees.
