Thousands of used books in more than 30 categories go on sale Sept. 26-29 as Friends of the Independence Township Library hosts its annual Fall Book Sale.
Prices range from 10 cents to $2, with vintage and ‘Better Books? available at a slightly higher cost.
The sale will include some ‘orphans,? reasonably priced greeting cards, puzzles, games, and other items that don’t fit into book categories.?
All items sell for half price Friday, and Saturday is $3 bag day ? but come early.
‘Usually Saturday is so busy we’re done by noon,? said Mary Jean Baker, Friends of the Library president.
All book sale proceeds benefit the library.
The Independence Township Library is located at 6495 Clarkston Road. The sale opens at 10 a.m. each day, and closes 30 minutes prior to library closing times.
