Dear Editor,
(In response to: ‘Village traffic light update, costly, better option sought by council,? The Citizen, May 1, page 1)
Why are we making a simple, efficient decision regarding a traffic light so complicated? What a good idea to put in four stop signs and do away with the traffic light. It would be so in keeping with a rural, small town atmosphere. I have often thought how silly to have a no turn on red sign on that intersection. Do we want to pretend we have heavy traffic and make it necessary for people to sit on the street when we could turn the corner?
Make it simple, more economical and easier for our town traffic flow by installing stop signs in our pretty town.
