Several Clarkston students banded together to raise funds for their summer trips toAustrailia and New Zealand. The trips are part of the People to People: Student Ambassadors program and will take students to various locations throughout the two countires for nearly three weeks.
The familes of the six students currently have plans for serveral fund-raisers in the near future, inlcuding:
? A euchre tournament on March 25 at Bottoms Up Food and Spirits located at 14007 Dixie Highway. Registration begins at noon and costs $20 a person, or you can call Dan to pre-register at 248-634-0040. Cash prizes awarded to the top five scorers.
? A bottle drive on April 1 at the Krogers located at M-59 and Crescent Lake starting at 9:30 a.m. Donate your recyclables and make every dime count.
