Clarkston kickers helped their Michigan Impact Soccer Club Girls U11 teammates to win the Novi Jaguar Invitational, May 11-13.
Jaclyn Marra, Molly McCaghy, Laura Norrito, Paige Oliverion, Payton Price, Cat Schlaff and Kateri Thibodeau joined by players from Lake Orion, Oxford, Leonard, Highland and Waterford went undefeated going into the championship game.
They beat Vardar East, 4-0, Dexter, 4-1, and Pennsylvania Crew, 3-1, before seeing Plymouth Reign.
All they needed was a win against Plymouth to take the Novi Jaguar Invitational.
They succeeded, not only with a win, but with a 6-0 shutout – their second during the tounament.
The tournament includes 410 teams, 103 clubs from Michigan, Ohio, Ontario, Indiana and Pennsylvania.
