The Orion Township Board of Trustees has agreed to pay township employee Phoebe Schutz for temporarily upgraded duties.
Schutz was to be paid $500 for duties she performed during the months when the position of planning commission/ZBA coordinator was vacant at the township.
The payment was to be shared equally between the Teamsters Union Local 214 representing the Clerical Unit, and the township. The union has already sent $250 to the township.
