Groveland Twp.-Michigan State Police Troopers from the Groveland Township Post are investigating two incidents of a Peeping Tom in the township.
Both reports are within one mile of each other.
At about 11:45 p.m., June 12 troopers responded to the 4000 block of Grange Hall Road. The victim reported she was giving her cat medicine and noticed what she described as a ‘fleshy mass? moving on her deck. She screamed and ran into the living room. Her husband noticed something on the deck near the kitchen window. The husband then observed the backside of a completely naked man.
The suspect is described as a white male, heavyset with visible fat around his waist area, about 6 feet tall, having a hairy back and lower torso, shaved head with dark stubble showing. The suspect was naked.
At about 11 p.m., June 21 troopers responded to the 300 block of Brian Court after a 12-year-old victim reported seeing something outside the living room windows. The mother turned the backyard lights on and observed a naked man who began running in a southeast direction. The description was similar to the report on June 12.
Det./Sgt. Gary Muir, MSP Groveland Post, said on Thursday a person of interest is being investigated.
‘Our greatest concern in this case is, what’s next for this suspect?? said Muir. ‘These type of individuals could make the next move to a sexual assault. This is a very serious case.?
An MSP K-9 unit was called out in both incidents and it is believed the suspect left in a vehicle parked near the scene.
Anyone with information should call the MSP at 248-634-4883 between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or 800-495-4677.
