Oakland County Sheriff’s Department deputies have charged three more local teenagers with vandalism along the Paint Creek Trail.
Deputies responded to Golden Gate Bridge at the Paint Creek Trail on October 3 and took a report about a suspicious vehicle.
During the investigation deputies learned that three local teenagers had spray painted graffiti on the underpass of the Golden Gate Bridge that passes over the Paint Creek Trail.
The suspects admitted to investigators their roles in the incident and all three were charged with disorderly conduct.
Due to an increase in vandalism on the Paint Creek Trail, enforcement efforts have been stepped up and this is the second group of offenders in the last three weeks to be charged with vandalism on the public property.
Police want to remind the public that graffiti and vandalism is a misdemeanor offense and offenders will have an arrest record.
