‘Since my daughter Stephanie was a little girl, we dreamed of opening a salon,? said owner Peggy Strutz. ‘When she grew up we went for it.?
Peggy and Stephanie opened Tranquility Hair*Spa*Tanning one year ago. The salon was a new adventure for the mother-daughter team, however they have definitely come a long way.
Tranquility is literally an all-in-one salon. They offer a lot of variety in every area of beauty imaginable. From hair to tanning this salon has it covered.
Peggy and Stephanie aim to please all of their customers. They provide many services for all ages, men, women or children. Items include: haircuts, styling, hair color, texturing, treatments, nail care, foot treatments, waxing and tanning.
The nice thing about Tranquility is the convenience. If you need a simple haircut, visit Tranquility. If you need a manicure and pedicure, visit Tranquility, and if you just need a day at the spa, visit Tranquility.
Spa items include: massage services, facials, body treatments and makeup application.
The staff at Tranquility are always ready and willing to satisfy their clients, and enjoy meeting new people everyday. They have all been trained in their field and each specializes in a certain area of beauty care.
Tranquility Spa*Hair*Tanning has become very comfortable with their Clarkston location however, like every new business, they face challenges.
‘I think our biggest challenge is that many people don’t know we are here,? said Peggy. ‘We aim to please everyone and we want people to know that we cater to men, women and children.?
Peggy and her staff welcome wedding parties, or other special occasions into the salon.

Tranquility is a new business in the area, however the experience and skills are well above most.
