Ortonville- One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Debbie Baker is using this philosophy in planning ‘Treasures in Town,? a community yard sale planned for 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., June 7, at Crossman Park in the village during CreekFest.
The Downtown Development Authority is organizing the event and has approximately 20 spaces available. The 10-by-20 space is $10. Pre-registration is required.
‘I think this is a great idea,? Baker said. ‘This is such a rural town. You could have one at your house, but then it takes 20 miles to get down the road. This way, if you have stuff to sell, you can come down and hang out during CreekFest.?
