Unlicensed dog bites boy, 5, in Addison

A five-year-old boy was sent to Crittenton Hospital in Rochester after being severely bitten by a dog on Friday, April 2.
Oakland County Sheriff Deputies stationed in Addison Twp. responded to a call in the 3000 block of Rochester Rd. for a dog bite wound around 8:06 p.m.
The boy was playing in his neighbors yard when he was bitten by their Akita, suffering lacerations to the back of his head and puncture wounds to his right arm, abdomen and lower back.
According to responding Deputies, the dog was not licensed and did not have its shots up to date.
Animal Control took custody of the dog for quarantine.
