Vampire mystery

Vampires take the stage at this year’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, hosted by Clarkston Area Optimist Club.
‘Murder Twice Bitten,? a Patience Beer original production, tells the story of a desperate manager of an oil-ravaged Gulf Coast resort. When he organizes a Vampire Weekend to boost business, he gets more than he bargains for.
‘When everyone assembles, all sorts of things are going to happen,? Beer said. ‘Everyone is encouraged to come in their best vampire, traditional to modern, Dracula to Twilight.?
Doors open at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 12, Paint Creek Country Club, 2375 Stanton Road, Lake Orion. Dinner begins at 7:30 p.m., entertainment follows. The evening includes silent auction, 50-50 raffle, and open bar for beer and wine,
Admission is $60, half tax deductible. Order deadline is March 5.
The annual fund raiser benefits the club’s Alpha and Junior Optimist clubs in Clarkston schools, scholarships, and other youth programs.
