After a 25-12-2 season last year, which featured a league and district title, the Clarkston varsity volleyball team is looking to take another step in the right direction.
This year the team has six seniors and three returning starters.
‘It’s hard to tell how we’ll do until we actually face some competition,? said Coach Kelly Avenall. ‘We’ve got some work to do with the setters.?
One of the volleyball teams? toughest tests will come in their second game of the year on Dec 16 at Lahser, which has one of the toughest teams in the area according to Avenall.
The varsity volleyball season opens Dec. 13 at Farmington High.
