Police reports showed an auto theft and several vehicle larcenies in the Balmoral Terrace and Olympus Road area on June 9.
A Balmoral Terrace resident’s red Ford pick-up was stolen.
One of the larcenies, was originally reported as an auto theft from Balmoral Terrace until police discovered the white 2002 GMC pick-up further down the road with several items missing. The owner could not recall the location of his keys.
In the same neighborhood, a 31-year-old man also reported vehicle larceny. The man stated he believes his barking dog spooked the perpetrators. The following morning he discovered several missing tools, but acknowledged many expensive ones were left untouched.
Reports showed a couple of the larcenies involved vehicles that were unlocked with no forced entry.
At an Olympus drive residence, three cars were entered resulting in the insurance certificate and registration missing from one of the vehicles.
