Wallet keeps turning up in the road
A 47-year-old Lake Shore man told the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department on April 29 that his wallet had for the second time been taken from his vehicle and then found nearby.
According to an OCSD report, the man said on Tuesday a deputy came to his house and told him his wallet had been found. He got the wallet, which he knew had been taken out of his vehicle, which was parked in his driveway. There were no visible signs of forced entry into the vehicle.
On Friday morning, the man discovered apparently the same thing had happened again. He came outside and found his wallet was missing, then located it in the street of his subdivision.
The man said he was pretty sure his vehicle was locked, and did not know how someone could have gotten into it. An unknown amount of money was taken.
