The rain stopped Friday evening just in time for Oxford to hold its annual homecoming parade. Colorful floats, tons of kids, marching band members and the famous Wildcat mascot were all there to help bolster school and community spirit.
Homecoming is always a major event in a small town and Oxford is no exception.

Downtown Oxford was the place to be Saturday as loads of proud folks lined Washington St. and crowded Centennial Park for the victory parade celebrating the Division I state championship secured by the Oxford Wrestling Team.
Oxford’s hockey team, cheerleaders and robotics team participated in the parade, as well. The hockey and cheerleading squads won their divisions in the OAA, while the robotics team was honored for winning the FIRST Robotics Competition District Event March 3-4 ? CJC
