Unlike other pharmacies in town, a simple phone call can provide all the services you need at the new We Care Pharmacy located at 1412 S. Lapeer Rd.
‘We are different from a retail pharmacy, we consider ourselves a community pharmacy where you can have more personal attention from the pharmacists,? said owner Evan Brikho, a graduate from Wayne State University with a doctorate degree in pharmacy.
‘All you really need to do is a phone call and you can get all the services you need,? he said.
The pharmacy delivers medical supplies and prescriptions to all of Lake Orion and Orion Township, and is considering providing immunizations to residents at home with their prescriptions. They are also willing to deliver to nursing homes if any in the area are interested.
The pharmacy opened June 19 and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
It provides flu and shingles vaccinations, and Brikho is working on offering more.
A family run business that moved to Orion Township after hearing from fellow doctors in the area it is a great community, he thinks more people are hearing about its existence through word of mouth, ‘so it is getting better. We’re getting there, but we still need the support of the city,? he said. ‘I opened a pharmacy here to help the community, and hopefully the community will help us.?
He was excited to move his business to the area, and to see more and more people become familiar with his services and products.
‘It’s an expanding city and a growing city, and that gave us the push to come to Lake Orion,? he said.
