FEATHERSTON, WINIFRED FLORA of Lansing formerly of Waterford and Venice, FL; died August 13, 2016.

She was 95.

 Born May 31, 1921 in Tyre, Michigan to the late Frank and Margaret (nee: McPhail) Simkins.  She married the late Donald Featherston on September 12, 1947 in Ortonville.  She is survived by three children, Robert (Jane) Featherston, Teri (Jonathan) Nessia and Jeanne Featherston; one brother, Roland (the late Chris) Simkins; also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE 135 South St., Ortonville.Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Bible Society.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent to www.CoatsFuneralHome.com
