Local photographer Winship Studios was chosen to take the school portraits for ten schools in the Clarkston district.
The Board of Education approved the contract for Winship Studios/JD School Pictures in a unanimous vote during their meeting on June 14, 6-0.
The proposal is a one year contract with emplorer option to extend for two additional years.
Winship had provided a bid in early May, along with eight other studios from Michigan and around the nation.
Winship bid a low cost for five traditional packages, from $7-$25 for different selections. but they are a Clarkston company, located at 7183 North Main St.
Winship will be photographing the seven elementary schools, Sashabaw Middle School, Clarkston Junior High School and Renaissance High School students.
