Woman jumps from car, arrested for assault

A Holly woman was arrested for domestic assault after she jumped from a moving car and then allegedly attacked the driver inside a bar.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the 38-year-old woman after being called to the scene by a witness who reportedly saw the woman jump from the vehicle. According to reports, the car was traveling south on Dixie Highway at a low rate of speed when the woman jumped out around 6:45 p.m.
The woman stated in reports she wanted to be out of the car. According to the driver, he went into the bar and tried to leave after she followed him. Then she allegedly assaulted him.
The driver, her boyfriend and a 41-year-old Holly man, was arrested for operating his vehicle while intoxicated.
After receiving treatment for minor injuries at Genesys in Grand Blanc, the woman was arrested. The driver was transported to Oakland County Jail.
