Brandon Twp.— On Aug. 28 the Avondale Yellowjackets defeated the Brandon Blackhawks 3-1 in volleyball.
“We fell in four games with close points,” said Head Coach Tarynn Mineger.
“There were five players on the court for most of the night that were playing their first ever varsity match so we were definitely shaking off the nerves.”
“Keep an eye out on veterans Hanna Pardon, Preslea Hanson, and Alyssa Krug,” she said. “We should see big things from them this season. Up and comers Madie McLauchlin, Izzy Sowles and Jamisyn Sheridan will likely bring a young energy to provide big points.”
