Current members of the Lake Orion School Board are expected to interview four people this week who would like to take Lori Penman’s place on the board.
Penman officially resigned at the beginning of August because she was moving out of the Lake Orion area.
At the school board meeting on Aug. 11, board members narrowed down a list of applicants from 11 to four.
Applicants who were asked to come back for an interview include John McKenna, Terry Lang, Lisa Sokol and Bill Walters.
Others who asked to be considered for the seat were Regina Eaton, Therese Gavin, Steven Wallace, Barbara McGuire, Scott Paye, Howard Sherman and Ed Staniek.
