MAJOR, JAMES MATHEW of Ortonville; died on March 25, 2025; he was 63. James was born August 5, 1967 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Louis R. and Dorothy M. (Bennett) Major. He married Kathy Bennett on August 14, 2015 in Oxford, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Major; four children, Alisha Harding, Frank Harding, Dr. Joshua Papineau and Natasha Krivak; five grandchildren, Rayne, Elliott, Astrid, Lukas and Sophia; two brothers, Gerard (Dionna) Major and Dennis (Lucy) Major. James loved spending time with his grandchildren. A graveside service will take place on Monday March 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Square Lake Cemetery, Lake Orion, Michigan.
