Nicole M. Hill, of Davison and Patrick M. DeGain, formerly of Clarkston, were united in marriage on August 6, 2005 at Davison Township Park with Rev. Wayne Wentzel, of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Teri Hill of Davison. She is a 2001 graduate of Davison High School and a 2004 graduate of Michigan State University. She is employed as a Student Services Representative at the National College of Business and Technology.
The groom is the son of Michael and Donna DeGain of Grand Blanc, formerly of Clarkston. He is a 2000 graduate of Clarkston High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana University. He is employed as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at the University of Virginia.
Serving as maid of honor was Alana Hill, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cristina Bastianelli, Liz McFarlan, Venessa Quintona and Abbey Strand, all friends of the bride. Madeline Kalush, niece of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid.
Serving as best man was Jack Barnhiesel, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Clinton DeGain, brother of the groom; Nathan Hill, brother of the bride; Joe DeGain, brother of the groom; Rocky Lund, friend of the groom and Tony Kotewa, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Matt Ferguson, Joseph Dubuque and Brady Richardson, all friends of the bride and groom.
Following the ceremony, family and friends enjoyed a reception at St. John’s Parish Hall.
The couple resides in Charlotesville, Virginia.
