Lakeville Elementary fourth-graders in teachers Leslie Klingensmith and Christine Vince’s class spent a few hours on the floor last week, cuddled up with their favorite books. Students brought in pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, stuffed animals and books for a two-hour Read-A-Thon March 30. The event was part of March is Reading Month. As a class, these fourth-graders read 2,400 minutes during the Read-A-Thon and a total of 32,595 minutes for the month.
