On Saturday, April 21, those attending a fundraiser at Christ the Redeemer Church helped ‘Raise a Glass to Raise a Roof.?
The event, which helped raised money for Habitat for Humanity, was full of food, fellowship and generosity. Local businesses and individuals donated food and auction items to the event.
Hors d’oeuvres and desserts were served through the help of A Moveable Feast, Castle Grille, Wooden Eagle, Carrie Lee’s, Casa Real, Achatz Handmade Pies Co., Victoria’s Delight, Melissa Attinoto, Harvest Time, Trader Joe’s and Red Knapps.
While participants got to munch on delicious food, they were entertained with live music by pianist Kurt Kunzat. Representative Jim Marleau was the announcer for the evening.
Christ the Redeemer is a member of the North Oakland Circle of Faith (NOCOF), which consists of churches from Ortonville, Waterford, Lake Orion, Oxford and Clarkston.
On June 15-17, the coalition will be participating in the Habitat for Humanity blitz build in Pontiac.
