The Orion Township Board of Trustees will host a Truth-in-Budgeting public hearing during their regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 17.
The hearing is for the proposed 2008 budget and the proposed millage rates to be levied for 2007.
By state statute, the board must set millage rates for 2007 and submit them to Oakland County by the end of the month.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and the public hearing will begin at 8 p.m.
