Many members of the Lake Orion Lions Club spent last Friday packing baskets for their annual Christmas Basket program, which were distributed the following day.
To help offset the costs involved with running the program, the Lake Orion Police Association made a donation to the Lions last week.
Club President Barry McMinn said the donation will ‘help tremendously? in their work on the gift baskets.
The Lions are the largest service organization in the world and have been a part of the Lake Orion community for 69 years.
