Lisa Simpkins has resigned from the Orion Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
Simpkins resignation was effective April 22, and received by the board of trustees on May 5. Her term expires on Dec. 31, 2003.
The board appointed, at the request of parks and recreation director Rock Blanchard, Joe Bird, currently an alternate to the committee, to finish the term. Bird was also appointed for a term after that, expiring Dec. 31, 2006.
The board is looking for a new alternate for the committee.
