With all 16 precincts reporting, incumbent Stephen Hyer returns to Clarkston Board of Education with 1,281 votes, 35.81 percent of the total, joined by Rosalie Lieblang, with 1,175 votes, 32.85 percent. Challenger Michelle Beck received 1,119 votes, 31.28 percent. Voter turnout was light, with about 6 percent of registered voters casting ballots. A total of 3,377 voters cast ballots, more than half absentee.
