About 160 Clarkston Girl Scouts and 50 adult volunteers headed north to Lapeer, May 1, for a camping weekend at Camp O’Fair Winds. The weekend was filled with camp fires, hikes, songs, crafts, row boating, team activities, voyager canoes, and archery.
Every two years the Clarkston Girl Scout Service Team plans a camp out for all the troops in Clarkston. Clarkston has 55 troops throughout the school district, serving more than 550 girls. This year, 21 troops participated in Encampment.
