Two lucky winners, one from Lake Orion and the other from Port Huron, are each a little bit richer after matching all five numbers in the March 3 Michigan Rolldown drawing.
The winners shared the $14,376 jackpot and will each receive a $7,188 prize.
Sandy Dennis of Lake Orion was “shocked” to learn she was a winner. Dennis, who works as a substitute teacher for Lake Orion Schools, purchased the winning “easy pick” ticket at Orion Market on Clarkston Road in Lake Orion.
“I stopped by a local lottery retailer to pick up a winning number report,” Dennis said. “This is the second time I’ve won a Michigan Rolldown jackpot prize.”
Dennis, 51, said she kept the winning ticket in a “safe place” prior to turning it in at the lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights.
The lucky lady, who enjoys working on craft projects in her spare time, added that she plans to use part of her winnings to pay bills and buy a new computer.
