It was all about clothes and shopping Oct. 13 as the Oxford Women’s Club held its annual fashion show at Boulder Pointe.
Seventeen women, men and children walked down the runway and struck a pose while wearing fashions provided by Parisian.
A total of 239 people attended the show, generating about $4,200 for the club scholarship fund that benefits Oxford area high school seniors. Photos by C.J. Carnacchio

Local ladies enjoyed an evening of high fashion, elegance and shopping as the Oxford Women’s Club hosted its annual fashion show Oct. 8 at Boulder Pointe.
Fabulous clothing from the Dress Barn at Great Lakes Crossing and Kim Rose Fashions in Grand Blanc was modeled by 18 local ladies of all ages.
The event raised about $4,000 for the Women’s Club scholarship fund, which benefits Oxford area students who plan to attend college or other avenues of higher education.
Earlier this year, the club awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to seniors graduating from Oxford High School.
Prior to the fashion show, the ladies enjoyed browsing and shopping at 15 exhibitors? tables related to art and fashion.
The women then dined on delicious mixed green salads topped with grilled chicken and garnished with blue cheese, pine nuts and sundried Michigan cherries. Yum.
Founded in November 1932, Women’s Club participates in many community events ranging from the Christmas Parade to Celebrate Oxford to the Women’s Expo.
It also donates to local nonprofits such as Oxford/Orion FISH and Crossroads for Youth.

A total of 120 people attended the Oxford Chamber of Commerce ‘Cruise into Spring? fashion show held April 24 at the Boulder Pointe Conference Center.
Clad in formal duds and casual wear ? all supplied by Kohl’s department store ? the models dominated the stage and delighted the audience.
