For the second year in a row, the Lake Orion School District was selected by SchoolMatch for the school system What Parents Want Award. Out of 15,000 school systems nationwide, only 2,000 were picked for the award.
LO School Superintendent Dr. Craig Younkman, said SchoolMatch looks at a number of things including teacher salaries, class size and competitive test scores.
