Third graders at Pine Knob Elementary spent April 27 celebrating Earth Day.
During the day they learned about animals and their habitats, recycling paper, plastic, metal and using items found in the environment for something new.
They took pine cones and turned them into birdfeeders. Also, they used their creativity with paint and a rock to make a colorful masterpiece for the garden.
