Thanks to her skills in volleyball, senior Taylor Hargraves won’t travel too far after graduation as she just signed a letter of intent to attend Oakland University.
Family and friends came out to support Hargraves as she signed her letter on May 30 and the athletic staff at Lake Orion High School had nothing but good to say about the senior.
‘I’m really excited for (Hargraves),? said Head Volleyball Coach Bob Howey. ‘She’s a great person and will do well academically.?
Athletic Director Bill Reiss also commended Hargraves and told a story about how she returned a wallet full of hundreds instead of keeping it. Reiss called it a testament to her character.
The girls managed to take second place in the state this year.
