Roseann Studinger

Roseann (Nan) Studinger, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 in Oxford. She was 99 years old.
Born October 27, 1912 in Thornewood, near Glasgow, Scotland.
Devoted wife of the late Leopold of Schmitzingen, Germany. Loving mother of Catherine (the late Jim) Lane, the late Lee (Sherry) Studinger, Nan (Jim) Toger, Walter (Theresa) Studinger, Patricia Dewandeler. Proud grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 5.
She is survived by a sister, Catherine Catchpole, and many nieces and nephews.
Dearly loved by many, Nan was known as “Mum.? Nan and Leo enjoyed supporting family and friends, and they loyally cheered for their teams in competition at all levels especially basketball.
‘Mum? was an excellent baker and prepared banana nut bread and chocolate chip cookies for her own children, her grandchildren, and “children” of all ages.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Bossardet Chapel, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford. A brief prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m.
In state August 10 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Resurrection at 11 AM.
