Library to host film series

Independence Township Library is inaugurating a new film series of ‘Monday Mysteries? on Monday, June 23 with the showing of the classic Alfred Hitchcock thriller, ‘Suspicion.?
Newlywed Joan Fontaine suspects her husband Cary Grant is trying to kill her in this stylish 1942 film.
All three films in the monthly series are directed by Alfred Hitchcock, the master of suspense, and star Cary Grant, the ultimate Hollywood star.
Also included in the series are showings of ‘To Catch a Thief? on July 21 and ‘North by Northwest? on Aug. 18.
All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are held in the library’s Community Meeting Room. This free film series is aimed at adults and teens. Any children under age 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
