Welcome back Oxford students!

From the wee ones in elementary school to the driving-and-dating teenagers in high school, students of all ages in Oxford returned to the classroom Sept. 4 to begin a new year of learning and self-discovery.
The Oxford Leader looks forward to another year of covering classroom activities, sports, awards, achievements, good deeds, school assemblies, special visitors and all of those little moments in between.
It’s those moments in between that count the most to us because those aren’t the things that will receive coverage from daily newspapers or TV stations.
However, we know it’s those little moments that matter most to kids, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc.
The Leader loves to capture those special moments with photographs and articles because that’s what gets cut out of the newspaper in order to be glued into scrapbooks, and hung on refrigerator doors all over Oxford and Addison townships.
But in order to capture those moments, we need your help. We can’t be everywhere, so parents, we need you to be our eyes and ears. If you have any school-related news ? from the classroom to the athletic field ? please call us and let us know.
