Just in time for Valentine’s Day, history teller Maureen Esther will explore this famous day of love with stories of ages past, of couples? unconditional love, loyalty, lust, and even betrayal.
Sponsored by the Clarkston Community Historical Society, the presentation is 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Clarkston Independence District Library Community Room.
The program chronicles some of history’s most famous couples, from ancient Egypt to modern times.
Early arrival is advised, as Esther’s previous programs have attracted standing-room-only crowds.
Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
The library is located at 6495 Clarkston Road. For more information, call the CCHS at 248-922-0270.
