Donald and Beverly Short recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
The couple, childhood sweethearts, were married March 13, 1950 in Pontiac.
Donald is the owner of Clarkston/Brandon Glass and Beverly is the owner of Lamplighter Gift Shop in Holly and the former owner of Beverly’s in Clarkston.
Donald and Beverly have four children, Danny (Karen), Cindy, Donald, and Leslie (Robert). They have 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Cucksey celebrated their 67th anniversary Aug. 5. The couple was married in 1942.
Morris and Rosa Lee raised three children and have six grandchildren. The couple have lived in Lake Orion 50 years.

Willard (Dick) and Josephine Stephen, of Oxford, exchanged wedding vows June 21, 1959 at Olive Chapel near Muncie, IN. They have two sons, Craig (Barbara) and Garth (Pamela), and three grandchildren, Blake, Alex and Anika.
