With music, good eats and bright minds on hand, the Clarkston Foundation held its graduation celebration at Clarkston Chrysler Jeep on Big Lake Road on May 13.
The event featured entertainment by Clarkston High School performing arts students who provided music. The CHS Robotics team displayed a basketball shooting robot which wowed the crowd. Student artwork ranging from poignant canvases to a painted violin were displayed for all to see. Teacher of the Year recognition, ‘graduation Nancy Mahoney was also recognized.
Visitors enjoyed complimentary beverages and food.
The Clarkston Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust organization providing support and recognition for outstanding efforts in teaching and learning in the Clarkston School District so that students and teaching professionals will continue to reach for excellence in the classroom and beyond.
