The Lake Orion varsity baseball team lost to Farmington on May 10, 10-8, but came back to redeem themselves with victories over Orchard Lake St. Mary’s on May 13, and Novi on May 14.
Against St. Mary’s, the Dragons won, 6-2, with Neil Medchill and Josh Hughes both hitting homeruns.
Nick Dunstand had three hits, while Lee Dickinson had the win on the pitching mound.
Against Novi, Lake Orion lost the first game of the doubleheader, 7-6, but came back to win the second, 14-2 in five innings.
In the first, Steve Garver was 3-for-4 with three RBI for the team, with Ben Wright pitching.
In the second, Joe Barnes had four RBI, while Kip Drewry had four runs and Dickinson scored three.
Matt Thomas pitched the winning game for Lake Orion.
The Dragons finished the week 17-7 in OAA I.
