The varsity Wolves basketball team last week increased their OAA record to 8-4 (12-6 overall) with victories over Troy Athens and Lake Orion.
Clarkston defeated the Red Hawks 51-37 Tuesday, Nov. 4, with three Wolves in double digits scoring.
Stephanie Parkin led the attack with 20 points and eight rebounds. Suzie Giroux scored 11 points with six rebounds and Leigh Christy added 10 points. Tamra Green was also active on the boards with six rebounds. Green and Jill Kouri each made two steals.
Hosting Lake Orion Thursday, Nov. 6, it was Clarkston all the way with a 55-21 final score.
It was a balance offensive attack, with Kouri, Parkin, Giroux each scoring eight points, followed by Amanda Kaltz with six.
This week’s schedule called for visits to Troy Tuesday and Rochester Thursday, in the last week of regular season play.
