Friends of Ryan Kennedy hosts the third annual Dinner Benefit at Overtyme Grill & Tap Room, 3 p.m., March 1.
Live entertainment will include Raft, a local high school group in Clarkston, as well as Cosmic Groove. There will also be a special auction for kids, $30 game room tokens will be for $20, and a photo booth will be going all evening. There is also a special buffet menu planned, for $9.99/person.
The goal is to raise $25,000 for a 6,000-square-foot memorial playground in Clintonwood Park.
Kennedy passed away in June of 2012 after a 5-year battle with brain cancer. The Clarkston community supported him and his family through many grass-roots initiatives
