Dear Editor,
On behalf of all the directors, I would like to offer a very sincere thank you to the community for supporting this year’s BHS musical, ‘Titanic.?
With over 75 cast members, 15 student musicians, and 14 backstage crew members, this production truly captured the tragedy of the Titanic sinking almost 100 years ago. There was hardly a dry eye as the cast sang of their fate in the finale. Another thank you is in order for O’Malley’s Galley who catered the Dinner & Theatre package’the actual menu from the Titanic provided inspiration for their dinner offerings, complete with sinking ship centerpieces amid icebergs, ice cubes shaped like ships, and a chocolate ship ‘sinking? in chocolate mousse for dessert. No matter what is going on with the economy, it’s still heartwarming to see such talent here in Ortonville!
