NTH Consultants was the winning bidder for bridge inspections in the Village, at $1,100.
The Village Council agreed March 13 to accept the bid, for inspection of the Bellevue and Perry Street bridges. The state requires all bridges that span more than 20 feet to be inspected every two years.
Village attorney Gary Dovre had some concerns about NTH’s letter of proposal, so the council decided if the issues could not be worked out with NTH, the bid would go to Wade-Trim, for $1,900.
