Suzie Wells and Jim Sunday of Consumers Energy presented an in-kind donation of $100,000 for bike path construction to Orion Township Supervisor Jerry Dywasuk at the township board’s Aug. 21 meeting. Parks and Recreation Director Rock Blanchard said the donation will help with the construction of approximately 2.5 miles of path along the ITC Utility Corridor, between Baldwin Road and the abandoned railroad east of Joslyn Road.
